Blazer Edit

I recently and coincidentally found two perfect blazers at a favorite local thrift shop (Elsie’s), which restarted my obsession with the oversized blazer trend. In the last few years, I’ve been really loving pieces that take inspiration from menswear tailoring and how I can incorporate that into my wardrobe with my own styling! If you haven’t noticed yet, this Fall season, plaid blazers are popping up everywhere (see a few of my favorites below).

Zara – Checked Double-Breasted Blazer

Massimo Dutti – Houndstooth Blazer

Annie Bing – Plaid Blazer

Mango – Tailored Check Blazer

Zara – Checked Blazer

Here i wanted to show you a few different ways you can wear and style this piece whether it’s with a wool skirt, or a simple pair of denim. It’s definitely a great investment for Fall, plus you don’t need to spend a lot to get a quality piece. You can easily find one online, locally, or at a secondhand store like me! One of the blazers I found was vintage Valentino (love!) which came with a matching skirt that I can’t wait to show you guys, and the set cost less than a brand new blazer I was going to buy online!

What I’m Wearing (Look 1): Lagarde T-Shirt – The Group by Babaton at Aritzia // Helena Straight Legged Jean – GRLFRND // Blazer – Elsie’s (Vintage) // Tapestry Pouch – Wilfred // Kitten Heeled Boot – Zara (similar one here)

What I’m Wearing (Look 2): Bloy Sweater – Wilfred at Aritzia // Essonne Skirt – Wilfred at Aritzia // Blazer – Elsie’s (Vintage)
